A website for online courses that sells a seat, not a “leave a request”

A course is bought after three questions: what is inside, who teaches it, and what you will be able to do at the end. The site answers them before anyone writes to your Direct — and takes the payment right there, while the decision is still warm.

what the site does

Three things the site has to do here

01

A programme with dates, not “duration: 2 months”

The lessons listed, the start date of the next intake, and the outcome written as an action: “you will build your first website”, not “you will gain knowledge”. Those three things are exactly what people look for before paying — and they go where the three are written down.

02

Payment on the page, not “a manager will contact you”

The button leads to your bank’s payment link and the money goes to your account. Courses are bought in the evening and on emotion: every step between the decision and the payment costs you part of your sales, and “a manager will contact you tomorrow” costs the whole sale.

03

Who teaches it and what previous groups produced

A photo of the author, a line about their experience, work by graduates, and reviews with names and the intake number. People pay a person, not a subject — and they check that with their eyes before reading the programme.

Why this type and not a bigger one

A catalogue of a hundred courses with personal accounts is a platform, not a website. A school usually runs three to five courses, and each one needs a page of its own: programme, author, payment. Together that is up to five pages — a brochure site. If you run a single course, take a landing page: it costs less and everything folds into one column.

The price and the timeline here are the same as on the pricing page: a niche page has no price list of its own. If you need more pages than the package holds, each extra one is charged from the open add-on list.

Questions people ask in this field

What does a website for online courses cost?
It is a brochure site: a page per course, the author, reviews, payment. Price and timeline in the line above, the same as on the pricing page.
Where do the lessons and access live?
Not on the website. Lessons, access and homework are held by a learning platform or a private channel — a separate product with its own subscription. The site sells the seat and hands the person over after payment. Personal accounts, progress tracking and certificates we do not build, and we say so at once rather than in week three.
Can we take payment on the site itself?
Yes. Payment on the page is an add-on from the open list: we connect your bank’s payment link and the money goes to your account without us in the middle.
The intake is over — who changes the dates?
You do. With the editing panel the next start date takes a minute to change — the panel is an add-on and it is in the price list. Without it we make the edits from the small-jobs price list.
