Questions people ask on the first call

What does a website cost?
A one-page site starts at ₴15,000 over 5 working days. A five-page site starts at ₴31,000 over 10 days. The exact number comes after a forty-minute call, once the pages and their content are clear.
Why do your prices say “from”?
Because the difference between four pages and six is a week of work. “From” is the lower bound for the base package, and it is honest: it will not be cheaper. We name the exact figure after a forty-minute call, it goes into the contract, and it only grows together with the scope — in writing.
Do you do SEO promotion after launch?
No, we do not sell promotion. We put the site into search: clean code, sitemap, markup, speed, Search Console, a check that the pages are indexed. That is one-off work and it is included. Promotion is a different profession: 30–50 links and a dozen articles every month, from €600 a month with the people who do it for a living. Doing it “a little, on the side” means charging for an imitation.
Will our site be found in Google at all?
By your name and by narrow queries like “wedding photographer Uzhhorod” — yes, usually within two or three weeks of launch. By broad commercial queries, where the top has been held for years by large sites — no, and that is not a code problem. We say this before you sign, not after.
Can we start with one page and expand later?
Yes, and that is often the right path. The site is built on a design system, so the next page uses the existing design and costs 3 000 ₴. Nothing already built has to be redone.
How do we pay?
30% once the spec is agreed, 70% before the site is handed over. Domain and hosting you pay for yourself, in your own name.
How many rounds of edits?
Two in Solo and Service business, three in Company. One round is one collected list of notes. Changing the concept after the design is approved is separate work, and we agree that before we start.
What if I have no copy or photos?
We work with placeholders and the timeline shifts by the waiting time. We can write the copy — that is a separate line, ₴6,000. A site is only as good as its content.
Will the site rank first on Google?
We do not promise positions — nobody honest does. We build the base without which you cannot get there: structure, speed, titles and descriptions, sitemap, markup, a page per service.
Who owns the site?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, hosting on your account, source files handed over at delivery. If you move to another contractor, you take everything and go.
What if something breaks after launch?
60 days of guarantee, written into the contract as its own clause rather than into the marketing. A bug is something that worked at handover and stopped: the form, the layout, links, speed. If enquiries are blocked we fix it the same day, everything else within three working days. A new wish is not a bug, but we will price it from the list, with no surprises.
Why does it take three weeks?
Because an 8–12 page site is 8–12 rounds of think, write, design, build, check. Faster happens when someone takes a template and swaps the pictures. That is a different service at a different price.
Do you build online shops?
Yes. A cart, card payments and order statuses — the Shop package from ₴70,000 on the ready-made solution. A large shop with thousands of items, stock and feeds is quoted separately: tell us what you need and we name the price after we talk.
What does a website cost in my city?
The same as anywhere else: ₴38,000, ₴75,000 or ₴125,000. Local contractors differ — Kyiv is dearer because of rent and salaries, regional centres are cheaper. The city-by-city table is on the pricing page.
Is it normal that we never meet?
Yes. Instead of meetings there is a staging link you can open on your phone at any moment, and three calls over the whole project. In Lviv we can meet if that feels better.
What if we part ways mid-project?
You keep what is done and paid for: the structure, the designs, the code on your domain. Prepayment for a stage that has not started is returned. The domain has been yours since day one, so there is nothing to take back.
Why are there no testimonials on this site?
Because we will not publish text that cannot be verified. The cases here are teaching examples: they show how we think and what we count as a result. Real testimonials will appear with the first live projects — with a name and a link to the client site.
What does an audit cost?
A mini review with up to five observations is free. The full audit with a document and video is $50 and is credited if you order a redesign.
Who pays for domain and hosting?
You pay the provider directly: a domain is about $8 a year; hosting is ₴0 for a static site and from $30 a year for a site with a database. Both accounts are in your name.
