What a website really costs in Ukraine in 2026

12 August 202616 min read

Anything from ₴5,000 to ₴400,000 answers to the phrase "a website for our business". Here is what each tier actually buys, how the city changes the price, what costs extra, and where cheap turns expensive.

The short answer, so you do not have to scroll

A one-page service website in Ukraine in 2026 costs ₴15,000–60,000 and takes one to three weeks. A 4–8 page site is ₴40,000–150,000 and two to four weeks. A company site with a catalogue, a second language and integrations is ₴120,000–400,000 and takes a month or more. Online shops start where this article ends: ₴150,000 and up, and nearly always longer than promised.

Our own prices sit inside that range: ₴15,000 for a one-pager in 5 working days, ₴31,000 for a five-page site in 10 days, ₴51,000 for a company site in 18 working days. The same in every city. The rest of this explains why, and how to check any other quote you receive.

What the price is made of

A website is not files — it is five different jobs sold on one invoice. Research and structure: who your client is, what stops them, which pages are needed and in what order the blocks stand. Copy: the thing that makes a service understandable or loses the reader. Design: how it looks on a phone and on a monitor. Build: markup, forms, speed, responsiveness. Launch: domain, HTTPS, analytics, a tested enquiry.

When half the invoice disappears, it is not the margin that goes. It is the first two jobs — research and copy. That is why a cheap site usually looks fine and brings nothing: it has pictures, but no answer to why anyone should enquire here rather than somewhere else.

The four tiers of the market

Tier one, ₴5,000–12,000: a ready template with your logo and photos. Fast, sometimes decent. One problem — it cannot grow, because adding a page means breaking the template.

Tier two, ₴30,000–90,000: individual approach, separate pages for services, an editing panel, basic SEO. Solo contractors and small studios live here, and the site can be extended for years. This is where we are.

Tier three, ₴120,000–400,000: a studio with a hundred cases — research before design, testing with real users, a dedicated SEO track, a project manager. You pay for the outcome, for peace of mind, and for the office it all sits in.

Tier four: website builders, ₴3,000–5,000 a year. The site lives exactly as long as the subscription. Stop paying and it is gone, and you cannot take it with you.

The price of a website is not the price of the files. It is the price of answering what you sell and to whom.

Does the price differ by city

It does, substantially — but not because a site in Kyiv is different. The difference is overhead: rent, salaries, taxes and the gaps between projects are all baked into the quote.

Kyiv holds the highest range in the country, ₴60,000–250,000 for a service site. Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv and Dnipro run about a quarter lower for the same level of work. Regional centres are ₴25,000–90,000 — fewer studios, more solo contractors. In small towns published prices often do not exist: sites are ordered remotely and local geography stops meaning anything.

Our price is identical across Ukraine, and that is not generosity. We keep no office and work remotely, so there is no Kyiv rent inside the invoice and you are not paying for it inside your own website. The city changes exactly one thing: whether we can meet in person. In Lviv we can.

Freelancer, studio, builder — three prices for the same words

A WordPress freelancer charges from ₴5,000 and delivers in 3–7 days. You talk to the person doing the work, which is a real advantage. The risk is that in a year that person may be unreachable while the site is still alive and needs updates.

A studio charges from ₴60,000 and takes 3–6 weeks. You talk to a manager and your project is one of dozens, but the studio will not vanish and it can build what one person cannot: shops, accounts, complex logic.

A builder costs ₴3,000–5,000 a year and takes a day. The cheapest way to have a site and the most expensive way to keep one: the subscription never ends and the site is never yours.

Why two identical-looking sites cost differently

Because the visible part is roughly a quarter of the work. The difference sits in what a screenshot cannot show: whether anyone wrote the structure before the design; whether the copy was written for your business rather than assembled from adjectives; whether the form was tested with a real submission; whether the site opens in a second on a phone in the street; whether you can change a price yourself without calling a developer.

The simplest way to test a quote: ask to see not pictures but one case with a brief, the work done and the outcome. A portfolio of a hundred images and not one such case is already the answer.

What costs extra, and how much

A second language — ₴12,000 and three extra days. An editing panel — ₴9,000. CRM integration — ₴8,000. Online payments — ₴7,000. Copywriting — ₴9,000. Visual sourcing or a shoot — ₴6,000. A service-picker quiz — ₴6,500. A blog or news section — ₴8,500. Every line with a price and a timeline, never "to be agreed".

There is a price list after handover too, and it is per task, not per hour: rewrite the text on a page — ₴800, a new block — ₴1,000, a new page on the existing design — ₴3,000, done the same day — ×1.5.

What is not in the price — and why that is fine

No package includes professional photography, filling a catalogue with items, monthly SEO and ads, running social media, Figma source files, or integrations beyond the ones named. That is not meanness: each of those is a separate profession with its own budget, and quietly folding them into a package means they will be done thinly.

What a website costs after launch

The domain is about ₴300 a year. Hosting a static site is ₴0 a month — Cloudflare and Netlify give it away, and the free tiers cover a small business with room to spare. Hosting WordPress is ₴100–300 a month plus core and plugin updates that somebody has to run.

Support starts at ₴2,500 a month if you would rather not touch the site yourself. It is not compulsory: with a static site and an editing panel, the next invoice you see comes from the domain registrar.

How long it takes, and from when

A one-pager is 7–15 working days, a 4–6 page site is 10–30, a company site starts at three weeks. The clock starts not at the contract date but at the prepayment and the materials — whichever comes later. A pause waiting for your answer stops the clock, and that cuts both ways: if we are late, that is our problem and it never reaches the invoice.

When you do not need a website

If you have one sales channel and it works — a craftsperson fully booked through referrals, say — a website adds nothing but an expense. If there are no photos, no service descriptions and no clarity about who the client is, a website will not fix that; it will only display the problem in higher resolution.

And if you need a shop with thousands of items or booking with accounts, it is not us: a WordPress studio will do it faster and cheaper. We say that first so you do not spend an hour on a conversation that ends in nothing.

Our price list

Landing page — ₴15,000 in 5 working days: one long page for a private practice. Brochure site — ₴31,000 in 10 days: five pages, a page per service, links between them. Corporate site — ₴51,000 in 18 working days: ten pages, a catalogue or service lines, a design system.

Payment is 30% once the spec is agreed and 70% before the site is handed over. The domain is registered to you on day one and the first year is on us. The guarantee is 60 days, written into the contract. The price is fixed in that contract and changes only together with scope — in writing.

What each package actually contains

Landing page, ₴15,000 — one long page: individual approach, phone and desktop layouts, a gallery, a price list, an enquiry form that emails you, base SEO (title, description, sitemap, markup), SSL and hosting, the domain in your name with the paid separately, one round of edits, and a walkthrough of how to change text and photos yourself.

Brochure site, ₴31,000 — everything above across five pages: a separate page for each service, a menu and links between them, and each page findable in Google by the name of that service. Anything past that — a Telegram bot, an editing panel, online payments, a second language — is its own line in the add-on list.

Corporate site, ₴51,000 — everything above across ten pages, plus a design system so a new page is added in a day without re-building, a catalogue or service lines with filters, and keyword work: we pick the queries for your services and spread them across the pages.

How to vet a contractor in fifteen minutes

One: ask for links to three live sites, not pictures. Open them on a phone and count the seconds to the first screen. Two: submit a form on one of them — if no answer comes within a day, you have just seen how the thing you are about to buy actually works.

Three: ask whose name the domain goes in. The right answer is "yours", and it does not need three paragraphs of explanation. Four: ask to see the contract before paying. Five: ask what happens if the site breaks in two months, and whether that is written down anywhere.

Six, the simplest: ask for one case with a brief, the work done and the outcome. Not "we built a site for a clinic" but "calls to reception dropped by this much because the doctors schedule moved onto the site". If there is not a single case like that, you are paying for pictures.

Three legitimate ways to pay less

One: fewer pages. Not "make it cheaper" but "let us start with three pages and add the rest in six months". On a site built as a design system that is a normal path, and each further page costs the same ₴4,000 rather than a new project.

Two: bring your own copy and photos. That takes ₴9,000 for copywriting and ₴6,000 for visuals off the invoice. The catch is that they have to arrive before the design, not after it.

Three: drop what you will never use. A second language is for businesses that actually get foreign clients. A CRM integration is for people who already have a CRM. The most expensive parts of a website are the ones ordered "just in case".

What not to save on

Do not let the domain sit on the contractor account — that is the saving that one day costs the whole site. Do not skip the contract: without it there is no deadline, no guarantee and no fixed price. And do not pay everything up front — a sane schedule leaves both sides with something to lose.

The questions people ask most

Why "from"? Because two one-page sites can differ twofold in scope. The exact number appears after a call and is fixed in the contract, and after that it does not move.

Can it be faster? Yes, at ×1.5 for same-day work, and only on small tasks. A whole site is not built in under a week: there is nowhere to find the time except by removing the checking.

Will the site rank at the top of Google? We do not promise positions — nobody honest does. We build the base without which you cannot get there: structure, speed, a page per service, markup and a sitemap.

What if we do not like the design? The design is signed off in writing before any code, which is exactly why changes at that point cost hours instead of days. One round of edits is included; each round after that is ₴3,000, named in advance.

Can we pay in instalments? Yes: 30% once the spec is agreed and 70% before the site is handed over.

Updated 24 August 2026. Written by Kateryna, SKERRY. Every number here is either our own price list or a range taken from the published prices of Ukrainian studios and contractors in the summer of 2026.

We name the exact number after a forty-minute call. Not because the price is hidden, but because until then nobody can see how many pages you need and what stands on them.
