Copy, photos, a logo, company details and access — exactly what the build cannot start without. The list below covers all seven stages, and the more of it is ticked before the first call, the shorter the timeline.
To price a site exactly we need answers to seven questions: what you earn from, who pays, how people find you now, what breaks, three sites you like, what already exists and the deadline.
It takes half an hour of your time — and instead of a “from–to” range you get one figure and one date on the first call.
An exact price is impossible while the number of pages and their content are unknown. So the first call either becomes a data-gathering session, or the answers are already there and you get a number straight away.
| # | Question | What to answer |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | What you earn from | Not «services» — the actual items people pay for |
| 2 | Who pays | Private clients or companies, from which city |
| 3 | How they find you now | Instagram, referrals, ads, maps |
| 4 | What goes wrong | No enquiries · they get lost · the wrong people come |
| 5 | Three sites you like | And one sentence on why |
| 6 | What you already have | Logo, photos, copy, domain |
| 7 | The deadline | A date, not «as soon as possible» |
The most useful answer is the fourth. It decides what the site has to do at all.
No need to sketch a structure or invent section names — that is our part of the job. No need to write the copy in advance: it almost always gets rewritten to fit the structure.
Once you have the answers, look at the price grid and timelines by type of site.
